Editorial Policy 

1. General Provisions

The website Time for Action (https://en.timeforaction.info) is an independent media platform covering current events, socially important issues, and providing political, social, economic, and scientific analysis.

We operate in accordance with the current laws of Ukraine, including:

  • The Constitution of Ukraine  particularly the right to freedom of speech and access to information
  • The Law of Ukraine “On Information” No. 2657-XII dated 02.10.1992
  • The Law of Ukraine “On Printed Media (Press) in Ukraine” No. 2782-XII dated 16.11.1992
  • The Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information” No. 2939-VI dated 13.01.2011
  • The Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” No. 2297-VI dated 01.06.2010
  • The Code of Ethics of Ukrainian Journalists, approved by the Commission on Journalistic Ethics

“Time for Action” holds official status as an online media outlet, registered in the Media Register of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting. Identifier: R40-06418.

This is yet another confirmation of our transparency and accountability.

Our mission is to inform the public objectively, impartially, and truthfully.


2. Editorial Principles

2.1. Independence and Objectivity

  • We are not affiliated with political parties, business interests, or government institutions
  • The editorial team operates free from censorship or external influence

2.2. Accuracy and Verification

  • We publish only verified information and cite official sources
  • All content is cross-checked using at least two independent sources before publication
  • If an error is identified, we correct it and publish an update

2.3. Social Responsibility

  • We do not publish fake news, manipulation, propaganda, or disinformation
  • The site does not promote hate speech, discriminatory content, or violence
  • We protect the confidentiality of sources and uphold the rights of whistleblowers

2.4. Balance of Perspectives

  • We adhere to the Code of Ethics of Ukrainian Journalists

  • Our journalists are prohibited from accepting payment or benefits from third parties for coverage

When publishing opinions from external experts, this is always clearly stated.


4. Corrections and Updates

If inaccuracies or errors are identified after publication:

  • Corrections are made without altering the original source content
  • An “Updated” note is added with an explanation of the changes
  • In cases of significant error, the editorial team publicly acknowledges and corrects it
  • Users may contact the editorial team to request corrections via email or the contact form

5. Advertising and Sponsored Content Policy

  • All advertisements are clearly labeled in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Advertising”
  • We do not publish hidden advertising (“jeansa”)
  • Editorial content is not for sale

The Website supports open dialogue, but comment moderation is conducted according to our rules.

Prohibited:

  • Insults, hate speech, or discriminatory language
  • Calls for violence or illegal actions
  • Fake news or manipulative content

Comments may be deleted by the administration without prior notice.
