“This biennale unites contemporary art and advanced technologies to show the deep connection between trauma and renewal, between destruction and creation. It confronts the viewer with fundamental questions: what does it mean to fight for the right to exist? How do pain and loss become the foundation for creating something new? How does nature, which shares our struggle, help us find the path to renewal?
We want to give a voice to Ukrainian artists who create their work during wartime, to collect living testimonies and turn them into visibility, to give the authors a space for professional exchange and international presence, and to offer society an experience of empathy and action,” – Valeriy Korshunov, biennale curator.
