Kraina Mriy 2025: A Ukrainian Festival of Culture, Music, and Traditions
International Ethno Festival “Dreamland” will traditionally take place during the summer solstice and Kupala Night celebration on June 20, 21, and 22.
Location: the festival will be held on the territory of the M.M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden. Here, the magical world of the ethno-festival will unfold — uniting like-minded people for over 20 years. The garden will transform into a vibrant space of ethno music and folklore, folk traditions and crafts, Kupala rituals and dreams, and family leisure. There is still time ahead, but it’s already worth planning your brightest summer memories in Dreamland.
Dreamland Ethno Festival is a cultural event and international festival of ethnic culture and music that was first held in 2004. It celebrates the traditions, arts, and cultures of different peoples. The founder and visionary behind the festival is musician, composer, and promoter of Ukrainian folklore Oleh Skrypka. Dreamland was created in accordance with international standards of festivals like MUSIC WORLD FESTIVAL.
This year’s program promises to be rich and unforgettable. Over the course of three magical days, guests will enjoy:
- Live music only — no playback, with Ukrainian and international performers in the ethno style;
- Spiritual and creative workshops;
- Traditional dance and singing masterclasses;
- Games and activities for children;
- Discussion circles;
- Craft fairs featuring bearers of Ukrainian traditions;
- Traditional and artisanal treats;
- Kupala rituals.
The festival will host performances by renowned Ukrainian and foreign bands, as well as the finest kobzars, bandurists, and lirnyks. In addition to the main music stages “Dreams” and “Kray Rai”, there will also be heroic, literary, Crimean, and mystical stages.
Festival attractions include:
- An interactive ethnic zone for children;
- A craft fair-workshop with folk artisans;
- A wide selection of ethnic cuisines;
- Rituals, games, entertainment, and a book fair;
- A wedding area in the rose garden featuring reenactments of traditional Ukrainian weddings with songs, dances, wreaths, ceremonial bread, and authentic ethnographic color.
Special attention will be given to Ukrainian defenders, whose sacrifice allows us to celebrate freely today. The Oleh Skrypka Dreamland Charitable Foundation will host fundraisers, auctions, and other events to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
For the second time, Dreamland opens the gates to the world of spirituality and esotericism — the Mystical Dreamland Zone. Visitors will embark on a true journey of healing rhythms, meditations, and transformative practices.
- June 20 at 2:00 PM: the portal to Mystical Dreamland opens. Indian dance groups from across Ukraine, artists, musicians, sound healing, Om meditations, mantra singing, and lectures will fill the space with wonder and peace.
- June 21 at 11:00 AM: celebration of the International Day of Yoga with the support of the Embassy of India.
Inside Mystical Dreamland, guests can explore spiritual, energy, and shamanic practices, Ayurveda, and Peruvian healing rituals. Expect impressive sound therapy by handpan players and a variety of healing instruments from Ukrainian craftsmen: handpans, Tibetan singing bowls, drums, shamanic tambourines, and more. There will also be a veggie kitchen with delicious vegetarian dishes.
Dreamland is a space of revival for folk traditions and the birth of modern Ukrainian art. It is a community of dreamers who believe in the greatness of folk culture, national identity, and spiritual rebirth — all born through connection with nature and music.

Ticket price: 300 UAH per day or 750 UAH for a 3-day pass. Free entry for military personnel and children under 10.
